Return & Refund Policy

At The Book Hive, customer satisfaction is our priority. We carefully pack every order to ensure it reaches you in excellent condition. If you experience any issue with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned with the original packaging.

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team with your order number and the reason for the return.

  • Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Kindly provide clear photos of the item and its packaging so we can review your request and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Books that have been used, read extensively, or damaged after delivery.

  • Items returned without their original packaging.

  • Products returned after the 7-day return period.

  • Sale, clearance, or promotional items (unless received damaged or incorrectly).

Refunds

  • Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days through the original payment method where applicable.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or another mutually agreed payment method.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges only for items that are damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped. Replacement items are subject to stock availability.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error or a damaged/incorrect item.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return has been approved because of our mistake.
